Main fields of application:

  • Maintaining heat in chemical and oil industry pipelines.

  • Temperature regulation of food industry tanks and containers.

  • Protecting equipment and components from freezing at very low temperatures.

  • Technical solutions requiring direct contact with corrosive substances.

Teflon heat-resistant PTFE-coated high-temperature heating cable SNF – temperature tolerance up to 260°C

The Teflon-coated heating cable is highly flexible and can withstand temperatures up to 260°C when switched off. It is suitable for both frost protection and maintaining high temperatures. These cables are moisture-resistant and durable in harsh chemical environments. Heating cables with an ATEX environment certification are also available upon request.

The maximum power per meter and the maximum operating temperature of the heating cable depend on the specific installation conditions. We highly recommend consulting with us to clarify these details and find the best solution. In most cases, the power output should not exceed 30W/m.

High-temperature heating cables with Teflon coating are available as both single-conductor and twin-conductor (powered from one end) options. For more detailed information, please refer to the attached product files. They also feature high tensile strength.

Important installation guidelines to follow:

  • The heating cable runs must never cross each other or be in direct contact with the insulation material.

  • The heating cables must always be controlled by a thermostat with an appropriate temperature range.

  • When installing the heating cable on long pipe runs, it should be applied in a slightly meandering (wavy) pattern, as pipe lengths may slightly expand or contract at different temperatures.

  • When installing on a pipe, ensure there are no sharp edges at pipe joints, flanges, or elbows.

  • When heating plastic pipes or other plastic components, the output of the heating cable must not exceed 10W/m to prevent any damage to the plastic material.
