The HTS eHeat Gutter self-regulating heating cable (20W/m) provides reliable ice and frost protection. It is a professional solution for protecting gutters, downspouts, and external sewage pipes from freezing. The system effectively prevents the formation of ice dams and damage to utilities even at temperatures dropping to -30 °C. The cable is supplied as a ready-to-use kit with a plug, making installation as simple and fast as possible.
✅ Efficiency: Automatically adjusts its power output depending on the ambient temperature.
✅ Versatility: Suitable for roofs, rainwater systems, and Ø110 mm sewer pipes.
✅ Economy: For maximum reduction in electricity costs, we highly recommend using the cable together with a thermostat.
Reliable protection for sewage systems and gutters The 20W/m self-regulating heating cable HTS eHeat Gutter is essential for preventing pipes from freezing. Important note: If a pipe is already frozen, the cable will not be able to defrost it quickly — this requires professional steam cleaning. The cable is installed to ensure the problem does not recur in the future.
Application on roofs and in gutters: This cable is UV-resistant and specifically designed to operate in harsh outdoor conditions. It prevents ice build-up on the roof edge and prevents downspouts from bursting due to frost. Special clips or weather-resistant adhesive are used for securing the cable on metal or bitumen (SBS type) roofs.
Why choose the HTS self-regulating heating cable?
Flexible installation: The self-regulating cable can be cut to the required length or branched out depending on the specific roof configuration.
Smart heating: The cable increases its heat output when submerged in ice water (up to 40 W/m) and reduces it as the weather warms up.
Safety: The twin-conductor design with reliable insulation ensures maximum electrical safety and a long service life.
Technical Specifications:
Nominal voltage: 230 V

How does the system work? Although the cable is called "self-regulating", it never switches off completely on its own. When the air temperature rises above +3°C, the heating system should be turned off. To automate this process and save up to 70% on energy costs, be sure to use a thermostat.
