Voltage relay with current control DS Electronics ZUBR CV2 protects devices from too high and too low voltage, neutral wire interruption, as well as excessive current or power consumption.
In case of voltage deviations, the voltage relay switches off the load, and when the voltage returns to normal, it automatically switches the load back on.
If the current or power exceeds the allowed value, the load is switched off after the set delay time.

The voltage relay protects devices from overvoltage, undervoltage , loss of neutral , and limits current or active power .
If the current or power limit is exceeded, the relay switches off the load with a specified delay time.
TrueRMS – high-precision voltage measurement
The TrueRMS algorithm reduces the impact of noise and distortion on measurement accuracy in situations where the voltage is not a perfect sinusoidal shape.
Thanks to this, the voltage relay switches off the load before voltage pulses can damage the equipment.
Power-off delay
Modern devices can withstand short-term voltage fluctuations. The device's ProModel mode helps prevent unnecessary shutdowns:
If the voltage deviation is small or short-lived, the relay will not turn off the device .
The device remains operational within limits that are safe for the equipment.
This reduces the number of load shedding events and extends the life of the equipment.
Overheating protection
A temperature sensor inside the housing protects the relay from overheating:
At temperatures above 80 °C , the load is switched off and “ danger ” appears on the display.
When the temperature drops below 60 °C , operation is restored and the load is switched on.
If the protection is activated more than 5 times a day , the device will lock until the temperature returns to normal and the user presses any button.
Viewing the temperature:
During overheating, press the i button.
If there is no overheating, hold down the i button for 21 seconds .
Restart delay after a crash
The factory-set minimum switch-on delay is 3 seconds (adjustable from 3 to 999 s).
This delay protects sensitive devices (refrigerators, air conditioners) from frequent switching on.
Recommendation:
For refrigerators/air conditioners 2-3 minutes
Other devices may experience a smaller delay
It is also possible to select another operating mode: the delay starts from the moment the voltage relay turns off , not from the moment the voltage stabilizes.
Alarm log – up to 100 events
The log stores the last 100 protection activations (for example, voltage level at the moment of shutdown, activation of overheating protection).
The log is in non-volatile memory.
Easy and convenient use
The connection terminals are standardized and convenient.
The setup is done with three buttons .
The fourth button “ i ” displays the alarm log and explanations of menu abbreviations.
The digital display continuously displays voltage and other system readings.
The screen brightness and standby display are adjustable.
Easy installation
The ZUBR CV2 voltage relay with current control takes up only 2 DIN modules in the electrical panel.
Mounts on a 36 mm wide DIN rail.
If the installation location is humid or water may get into the device, the shield must have an IP55 protection class.
Additional configuration options
1. Undervoltage shutdown delay
Suitable for networks where there are frequent voltage drops and the relay tends to intervene frequently.
The adjustable delay of the undervoltage protection allows you to reduce unnecessary interruptions.
The delay applies to:
ProModel ON → 154…176 V
ProModel OFF → 120…210 V
In other cases, the manufacturer's fixed shutdown times apply.
2. Adjustable hysteresis (by voltage)
When the voltage fluctuates near the set limits, hysteresis helps reduce the number of voltage relay trippings.
The relay will only turn back on when the voltage exceeds the set limit + hysteresis value .
3. Protection against too frequent shutdowns
The protection prevents a situation where a sensitive device (refrigerator, air conditioner) turns on and off too often.
If the maximum number of consecutive shutdowns is reached:
relay locks ,
the load is switched off ,
the user must intervene.
Reasons:
loss of neutral wire;
voltage instability;
too narrow limits → it is necessary to expand the limits or increase the hysteresis.
