Underfloor Heating Thermostat
Heatline HL-44 WiFi Underfloor Heating Thermostat
Price includes 24% VAT · excl. VAT 44.00 €
The Heatline HL-44 is a smart WiFi underfloor heating thermostat designed especially for replacing an existing thermostat. It supports floor temperature sensors from many different manufacturers and fits a wide range of common 55 × 55 mm switch frames.
In many installations, this means that the existing floor sensor and decorative frame can remain in place. Before ordering, always check the resistance of the installed floor sensor and the exact model of the switch frame.
The heating can be controlled directly from the thermostat’s touchscreen or remotely through the Tuya Smart or Smart Life app. The HL-44 is suitable for controlling electric underfloor heating and compatible 230 V thermal actuators used in water-based underfloor heating systems.
A slim floor temperature sensor is included. It is also suitable for installations with heating film and thin electric heating mats.
A practical replacement for an existing thermostat
Replacing an old underfloor heating thermostat can be difficult if the floor sensor has already been permanently installed in the floor. Thermostats from different manufacturers may use sensors with different resistance values, and replacing the embedded sensor may be difficult or impossible.
The Heatline HL-44 supports floor sensors with the following resistance values:
- 3 kΩ;
- 5 kΩ;
- 6.8 kΩ;
- 10 kΩ;
- 12 kΩ;
- 15 kΩ;
- 20 kΩ;
- 22 kΩ;
- 33 kΩ;
- 47 kΩ.
The correct sensor type can be selected in the thermostat settings. Before purchasing the thermostat, we recommend checking the resistance of the existing floor sensor or identifying the model of the old thermostat.
Smart and convenient heating control
Temperature and other settings can be adjusted either from the thermostat’s touchscreen or remotely from a smartphone. The weekly schedule allows different temperatures to be set according to the time of day and how the room is used.
The adaptive learning function monitors how quickly the floor or room heats up. It can then start the heating in advance so that the desired temperature is reached at the scheduled time.
Open-window detection helps prevent unnecessary heating when the thermostat detects a sudden drop in room temperature. The app also provides temperature and energy consumption statistics.
If the internet connection is temporarily unavailable, the thermostat can still be controlled locally from its touchscreen and the saved settings remain active.
Compatible with common 55 × 55 mm switch frames
The 55 × 55 mm centre module is compatible with many popular switch frame ranges, including:
- Berker S.1, B.1, B.3 and B.7 Glass;
- Gira System 55, Standard 55, E2, E22, Event and Esprit;
- Merten System M, M-Smart, M-Arc, M-Star and M-Plan;
- Jung A 500, AS 500, A Plus and A Creation;
- Elso Joy;
- Busch-Jaeger Reflex SI;
- ABB Jussi.
Compatibility may depend on the exact frame model and installation method. If you are unsure, send us a photograph of your existing thermostat and switch frame. We will help you check compatibility.

Important: The Heatline HL-44 is designed for heating control only and is not suitable for controlling cooling systems. As the thermostat is connected to a 230 V power supply, it must be installed by a qualified electrician.
When installing the thermostat in a bathroom, all applicable electrical safety zones and installation requirements must be followed. An IP21 rating does not mean that the thermostat may be installed in any area of a bathroom.
