The Heatline HL-05 is a touchscreen WiFi underfloor heating thermostat with a built-in air sensor and an external floor sensor supplied as standard. It is suitable for controlling electric underfloor heating, other compatible 230 V heating systems and 230 V thermal actuators used on hydronic underfloor heating manifolds.
The thermostat can be controlled directly from its touchscreen or remotely through the Smart Life app. It also works without a WiFi connection as a standalone manually adjustable thermostat. Remote control and the weekly schedule become available after the thermostat has been connected to WiFi and the Smart Life app.
The HL-05 is available in white and black.
Three sensor operating modes
During the initial setup, you can choose which sensor the thermostat uses to regulate the temperature.
- Floor sensor only – suitable for bathrooms, hallways and other areas where the floor should remain at a set temperature regardless of the room temperature.
- Built-in air sensor only – the thermostat controls the heating according to the room temperature.
- Air and floor sensors together – the air sensor controls the room temperature while the floor sensor limits the maximum floor temperature. This mode is particularly suitable for wooden floors, parquet, laminate and other temperature-sensitive floor coverings.
Always check the maximum permitted temperature specified by the floor covering manufacturer.
Smart Life remote control
After connecting the thermostat to WiFi and the Smart Life app, you can:
- monitor the floor or room temperature;
- change the set temperature remotely;
- create a weekly heating schedule;
- control the thermostat from a smartphone or tablet.
Without a WiFi connection, the HL-05 works as a standard manually adjustable thermostat. A WiFi connection and the Smart Life app are required to use the weekly schedule.

Replacing an existing thermostat
The Heatline HL-05 is a practical replacement for an older mechanical underfloor heating thermostat. If you intend to reuse the floor sensor already installed in the floor, first check that it is an NTC 10 kΩ sensor.
If the existing sensor is not compatible, the NTC 10 kΩ floor sensor supplied with the HL-05 must be installed.
