The three-phase DS Electronics ZUBR D6 surge protection shield is designed for private homes and industrial electrical equipment (including three-phase motors) and can operate in single-phase or three-phase load mode. The voltage relay protects our electrical equipment in the event of overvoltage, undervoltage and short-term power outages.

In single-phase load mode, the voltage relay protects the network from critical voltage surges, and in the event of an accident in one phase, only the emergency phase is switched off. The three-phase overvoltage protection DS Electronics ZUBR D6 can be used instead of three single-phase voltage relays!

In three-phase load mode, the voltage relay protects the network from critical voltage surges, asymmetry, phase failure (the function can be disabled), controls the sequence of phase alternation (the function can be disabled), and in the event of an accident in one phase, all phases are turned off. In this mode, instead of a three-phase overvoltage protection with a contactor, the ZUBR D6 overvoltage device can be used!

Typically, a three-phase surge protector measures and displays the effective voltage value of each phase on the display. All settings and alarm values are also stored in non-volatile memory.

In terms of price, the ZUBR D6 three-phase overvoltage protection in the electrical panel is more profitable than three single-phase voltage relays. In addition, it is compact and takes up 6 standard module widths in the distribution panel. The overvoltage relay is installed on a standard 35 mm wide DIN rail in the distribution panel. If there is increased humidity in the room or there is a possibility of water getting into the device, the electrical panel must comply with the IP55 protection class.

Measurement accuracy and professional load shedding model - ZUBR D6 uses the network voltage measurement method - True RMS. This significantly reduces the impact of network interference on the accuracy of voltage measurement if the voltage shape differs from a sinusoid.

IMPORTANT! If you check the voltage relay values with your measuring device, make sure that the measurement principle of your device is also True RMS. Otherwise, the values of the voltage relay and your measuring device may differ. However, if you have more confidence in your measuring device, you can correct the voltage relay values by adjusting the voltage values on the relay display ± 20 V.

You can use the professional shutdown time delay function. This allows you to disconnect devices at a safe size and duration of voltage fluctuations.

Safety and comfort in use:
ZUBR D6 voltage relays are equipped with overheating protection. It is activated when the temperature in the housing exceeds +70 °C.
You can view the internal temperature of the housing at any time to monitor the relay status.
Button lock - you can lock the voltage relay control buttons so that no one accidentally changes its operating parameters.
In standby mode, you can also turn off the voltage relay display if you wish. If an accident occurs on any phase, the display will start flashing.

Additional safety of protected devices:
The ZUBR D6 surge protector implements new protection functions, the use of which additionally prevents failures of protected devices by reducing the number of repeated relay activations:

adjustable maximum number of consecutive protection starts;
adjustable voltage hysteresis.
Alarm log
The log can store in non-volatile memory the last 99 emergency starts (for example, when the voltage relay is turned off or the thermal protection is triggered). You can reset the log manually to assess the state and quality of the electrical network. This allows you to analyze the nature and frequency of accidents over a certain period of time. The log is also reset when the relay operating mode (single-phase and three-phase load) changes.
