The outdoor and roof heating cable with an output of 20W/m is designed for long-term outdoor use. This heating cable is perfectly suitable for use on bitumen, SBS, and PVC-coated roofs, where a lower heating cable output per linear meter is required compared to metal roofs.
However, it is important to remember that keeping a 120mm gutter and downspout completely ice-free requires an output of 30-40W per meter. To achieve this capacity, the 20W/m heating cable must be installed back-and-forth (in a loop).
