The insulated drum jacket is designed to insulate a standard 200 litre drum, reduce heat loss and help maintain a more stable temperature inside the drum. It can be used as standalone passive insulation or together with a drum base heater.
When used with a base heater, the insulation jacket reduces heat loss and helps the contents reach the required temperature more quickly. It can improve the energy efficiency of the heating system and slow down cooling after the heater has been switched off.

The jacket is secured around the drum with strong hook-and-loop fasteners. The opening at the top provides convenient access to the drum lid and contents without removing the entire insulation jacket.
