Gutter heating thermostat Elko TEV-1 for outdoor use

The surface-mounted, moisture-resistant outdoor gutter heating thermostat Elko TEV-1 is easy to set up thanks to its two adjustment dials. You can separately set the turn-on and turn-off points on the thermostat within the temperature range of –20 °C to +20 °C.

For example, the ice melting process can be set to activate when the temperature drops below +3 °C and to turn off at –10 °C. This specific operating mode ensures highly energy-efficient control of the gutter heating. The actual setpoints must be determined on-site depending on the situation, paying special attention to the lower minus-degree setpoint – determining the minimum temperature (for instance, on a roof with some heat loss) when meltwater no longer reaches the gutter anyway.

The transparent cover of the durable ABS plastic housing allows for continuous monitoring of the operation and status LED indicators, which display the current state of the device. A wide operating environment temperature range from –30 °C to +50 °C ensures reliable operation even in extreme outdoor conditions.

The Elko TEV-1 gutter heating thermostat can directly switch loads up to 16 A / 3680 W or, if necessary, control a contactor for larger heating systems.
