The NTC 10kOhm floor heating sensor is designed to measure and regulate the floor temperature. This sensor with a 3-meter cable is one of the most common types on the market, ideal as a replacement sensor if your old floor sensor has failed. As it is a standard 10k resistance sensor, it is compatible with many thermostats from well-known manufacturers.

Floor sensor 10kOHM / +25°C
The underfloor heating sensor has a thin tip, which makes it particularly convenient for use in thin floors.

Why is an underfloor heating sensor important?   The sensor is the smallest but most important part of your heating system's temperature measurement. If the sensor gives incorrect information or is faulty, the floor may remain cold or, conversely, overheat, which can damage the floor covering. Our thin   NTC 10k sensor   is a stable, moisture-resistant and long-lasting solution.

This underfloor heating sensor has been tested and is suitable to replace 10k ohm sensors from the following manufacturers:

  • Heatline   (all HL series thermostats)

  • Many other Chinese and European manufacturers use the 10kΩ (@25°C) standard.

Technical data:

  • Type:   NTC 10kΩ (@25°C)

  • Thermostat sensor cable 0n   3 meters long (extendable up to 50m if necessary)

  • Sensor diameter:   approx. 5 mm

  • Operating temperature:   -20°C to +80°C

  • Accuracy:   +/- 1%

Installation advice:   The underfloor heating sensor should always be installed inside a protective tube (e.g. a throat). This ensures that if the sensor breaks down in the future, it is easy to replace and you do not have to tear up the floor. If your current thermostat is showing the error message “Sensor Error / E2”, this sensor is probably the replacement part you need.
