Heatcom AluMat is an ultra-thin electric heating mat designed for dry installation under floating laminate, parquet and compatible wooden flooring. With an output of 80 W/m², it provides gentle and even floor heating without requiring levelling compound or tile adhesive.
The full-coverage aluminium foil distributes heat evenly and acts as an earth shield. The mat is only 1.5 mm thick, making it particularly suitable for renovation projects where the available installation height is limited.

Installation
The heating mat must be installed on a suitable insulating underlay, such as Heatcom Reflector 3 or Reflector 6, or another underlay with similar properties. The underlay reduces downward heat loss, compensates for minor unevenness and provides space for the floor sensor and connection cable.
When changing the installation direction, the aluminium foil may only be cut between the heating cables. The heating cable itself must never be cut or shortened.
The system must be controlled by a thermostat with a floor temperature sensor and temperature limiter. Heatcom recommends limiting the maximum floor temperature to 27 °C. Always follow the flooring manufacturer’s requirements regarding maximum temperature and permitted thermal resistance.
Electrical connection must be carried out by a qualified electrician.
