Heat-Pol H+ WiFi is an electric heating element with an electronic thermostat and WiFi control, designed for bathroom towel radiators and radiators filled with heat transfer fluid. It can dry and warm towels, provide additional warmth in the bathroom and allow the radiator to be used outside the central heating season.

The heating element can be controlled locally using the thermostat buttons and LED display or remotely through the SUPLA app. The app allows you to adjust the temperature, switch the heating on or off, select an operating mode and create daily or weekly heating schedules.

The heating elements are available in 300, 600, 900, 1200, 1500 and 2000 W versions. The correct output must be selected according to the radiator’s heat output, size and fluid capacity.

Control through the SUPLA app

Heat-Pol H+ WiFi connects to a 2.4 GHz WiFi network and is controlled using the SUPLA app installed on an Android or iOS device.

The app allows you to:

  • switch the heating element on and off;
  • set the desired temperature;
  • view the measured room temperature;
  • select Manual, Eco, Auto or Turbo mode;
  • create daily and weekly operating schedules;
  • control the heating while away from home;
  • use the same SUPLA account on several smart devices;
  • name devices and group them by room or heating zone.

A sufficiently strong 2.4 GHz WiFi signal must be available at the installation location to use the WiFi functions.

Temperature control

The heating element can regulate both the temperature of the heat transfer fluid inside the radiator and the ambient room temperature.

  • Heat transfer fluid temperature: adjustable from 10 to 65 °C.
  • Room temperature: adjustable from 10 to 30 °C when used with a room sensor or remote controller.
  • Standard start-up setting: 40 °C.
  • Anti-freeze function: helps prevent the radiator and its heat transfer fluid from freezing.

For accurate room temperature measurement, the temperature sensor should not be placed directly above the radiator, close to a door or in direct sunlight.

Operating modes

Manual

In Manual mode, the desired temperature can be adjusted using the thermostat buttons or the SUPLA app.

Eco

Eco mode reduces the temperature selected in Manual mode by up to 5 °C. It is suitable for periods when the usual comfort temperature does not need to be maintained.

Auto

In Auto mode, the heating element follows a daily or weekly schedule created by the user. Higher and lower temperature levels can be assigned to different times of day.

Turbo

Turbo mode operates the heating element at its maximum temperature for one, two or three hours. It is suitable for quickly drying towels or temporarily warming the bathroom. When the selected period ends, the thermostat returns to its previous setting.

Use with towel radiators and radiators

The H+ WiFi heating element is suitable for bathroom towel radiators and radiators filled with water or a water/glycol mixture. It can be used:

  • to dry and warm towels;
  • as additional bathroom heating;
  • to heat a radiator electrically outside the central heating season;
  • as the heat source in a fully electric fluid-filled radiator;
  • in a dual-fuel heating system together with central heating.

The heating element is not designed to operate without heat transfer fluid. It must be installed in a radiator filled with a suitable fluid in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions.

When the heating element is used in a radiator connected to a central heating system, at least one radiator valve must remain open during electric heating. This allows the heat transfer fluid to expand safely as its temperature rises.

Selecting the correct output

The output of the heating element must correspond to the radiator’s heat output and fluid capacity. An excessively powerful element may cause uneven heating or an excessively rapid temperature increase.

Heat-Pol’s general recommendation:

Radiator heat outputRecommended heating element
300–600 W300 W
600–900 W600 W
900–1200 W900 W
1200–1500 W1200 W
Above 1500 WSelect according to the radiator specifications

The suitability of 1500 and 2000 W heating elements must be verified against the radiator’s technical specifications, fluid capacity and manufacturer requirements.

Installation

The heating element is installed in a radiator connection with an R 1/2″ thread. Casing covers in different shapes allow the thermostat to be matched to round, D-shaped, square, rectangular or universal radiator collectors.

Two electrical connection options are available:

  • power cable with a UNISCHUKO plug;
  • straight cable for permanent connection.

For permanent connection, a double-pole disconnection device with a contact separation of at least 3 mm must be provided in the electrical circuit. The heating element must be installed by a suitably qualified electrician.

Electrical safety distances must be observed in bathrooms. According to the manufacturer’s instructions, a radiator fitted with an electric heating element must be positioned at least 60 cm from a bath, shower or washbasin. It must never be installed directly above a bath.

Design and colour options

The H+ WiFi thermostat features a modern LED display and a cable cover that conceals the radiator’s electrical connection. Casing covers in different shapes help match the heating element to the radiator collector and bathroom interior.

The manufacturer offers the following colour options:

  • white;
  • chrome;
  • black;
  • anthracite;
  • satin;
  • steel;
  • textured grey;
  • textured dark grey.

The availability of colours and outputs may vary by model.
