The IBC insulation body cover is designed to insulate the sides of a standard 1000-litre IBC container, reduce heat loss and help maintain a more stable product temperature. It is suitable for temperature-sensitive liquids during storage, processing and transport.
The insulated body cover can be used on its own as passive thermal insulation or together with an IBC container heater or base heater. It does not generate heat itself.
This model covers the body of the IBC container but does not include an insulated top lid. A separate top cover can be added to further reduce heat loss.

Easy installation with adjustable straps
The IBC insulation jacket is made from high-quality, water-repellent nylon and is equipped with four adjustable straps and quick-release buckles. This allows the cover to be fitted securely around the container and removed quickly when required.
The adjustable straps help keep the insulation cover close to the sides of the IBC container, reducing gaps through which heat could escape.
The cover fits standard 1000-litre IBC containers, including containers manufactured by Schütz, Mauser, GNX, Hoover, Werit and Greif. We recommend checking the external dimensions of the container before ordering.
Use with an IBC container heater
For active heating, first install the IBC heating jacket around the container. The insulation body cover is then fitted as the outer layer and secured using the adjustable straps.
Combining the heater with an insulation jacket reduces heat loss, improves heating efficiency and can help the contents reach the required temperature more quickly. An IBC foil heater or another suitable base heater can also be installed beneath the container to provide additional heat from below.
For the best thermal performance, the body cover can be combined with a separate insulated top cover.
The required heating power and heating time depend on the material inside the container, its volume, initial and target temperatures, ambient conditions and the selected heating system.

Important: the IBC insulation body cover provides passive thermal insulation and does not heat the contents of the container. A suitable IBC heater is required to prevent freezing or increase the product temperature. The material is water-repellent but not completely waterproof.
When used with an electric heater, always follow the heater manufacturer’s installation and safety instructions. Check that the selected temperature is suitable for the IBC container and the material being heated.
