The footwear disinfection unit is a professional solution for the rapid treatment of boots, sports shoes, ski boots, snowboard boots, ice skates and other types of footwear. Four fine-mist spray nozzles apply disinfectant liquid directly to the inside of the footwear. One pair can be treated per operating cycle.

The boot disinfection unit is suitable for ski rental shops, ice rinks, hockey clubs, winter sports centres, hotels and other facilities where the same equipment is used by different people throughout the day.

Fast and straightforward footwear disinfection

Footwear is placed toe-down over the two spray arms and the start switch is pressed. Each spray arm has two fine-mist nozzles that spray disinfectant liquid directly into the footwear.

A green indicator light shows that the treatment cycle is in progress. Gently rotating the footwear during the cycle helps distribute the liquid over the inner surface. When the indicator light goes out, the footwear is removed and left to dry.

The footwear disinfection system can also be used to treat helmets. According to the manufacturer’s instructions, the disinfectant liquid is then directed only through the right-hand spray nozzles.

Important: the shoe disinfection machine disinfects footwear but does not dry it. After treatment, the equipment must be left to dry. The effectiveness of disinfection depends on the disinfectant used, its concentration, coverage of the inner surface and the specified contact time. The compatibility of the liquid with the material being treated must also be checked before use.

If the equipment needs to be dried quickly after disinfection, see also our range of shoe and boot dryers.
